Paris Park in Redding is very centrally located off Park Marina Dr. and near the Sacramento River and Sundial Bridge trail system.  It's a single family senior community for residents 55 and over.

With its central location it is close to everything in Redding although it is difficult to find a home for sale most of the time as it only has 49 homes in the entire neighborhood.  We have seen nearly a year between the availability of a home and in other cases there have been a couple at the same time, it is just a matter of chance.

Upon passing through the gated entrance to Paris Park you first find a traffic circle with the clubhouse and lap pool in the center. The main central streets then branch of from this point and there are a couple short cul-de-sac as well.  The Homeowners Association is a bit different here than other senior gated communities in town.  The monthly fees include yard maintenance and the exterior painting of the buildings which keep the entire neighborhood looking great all year.  With this, the monthly dues are just under $150 per month which is a bargain if you were to have to do those maintenance items individually.

The Paris Park 55+ Gated Community has a small clubhouse and an RV storage area.  The homes were built by one developer/builder beginning in the late 1980's and they were completed in the early 1990's.  These homes are generally in the 1300 square feet to 1500 square feet range and are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Some homes were adjusted slightly for the original owners by the builder.  This is a hidden jewel that many people are not aware exists... we spoiled that one!!
