Community: Cottonwood CA is country living at its finest, it covers a vast area generally 15 to 30 minute drive south from Redding. With a variety of country homes on acreage that have a variety of home qualities and sizes. Present here is also Lake California which is a large gated community with amenities galore. The Cottonwood area covers potions of both the southern end of Shasta County and the Northern end of Tehama County.
Locally at and near the Gas Point Rd area is a shopping center, schools and the historic "downtown" portion which was established as a stage coach stop in 1849.
Location: Cottonwood CA is generally a 15 minute drive south from Redding on Interstate 5 with travel time added to your specific destination. The exits of Gas Pint Road, Bowman Road, Sunset Hills Dr, and Hooker Creek Rd will all get you to this unincorporated area.
